Rachel Hunter, who stared in the E! Television world premiere film Best Actress opposite Maria Conchita Alonso as well as the feature film Metal Gods opposite Mark Wahlberg, is one of Hollywood’s most diverse young actresses.
Born in New Zealand, Hunter rose to prominence after posing as a Sports Illustrated model in 1989 and quickly became one of the most photographed cover models in the world. She quickly followed up her fame with a successful workout video that subsequently attracted her to the field of acting.
Beginning with several television appearances on the Drew Carey Show and as Judd Nelson’s lesbian girlfriend on NBC’s Suddenly Susan, Hunter quickly made the transition into feature films. In Just A Little Harmless Sex she played a nightclub waitress opposite Alison Eastwood and Lauren Hutton. She also played an alcoholic mother in Winding Road wear she’s struggling with the loss of her child in which she stars opposite Michael Weatherly. Other films include: Benchwarmers with Rob Schneider and David Spade, EL Padrino playing along side Robert Wagner, Stacy Keach and Faye Dunaway, You and Your Stupid Mate, Ozzie, Two Shades of Blue as a writer engaged to Gary Busey, Soul Mates, Pendulum, Tripfall with John Ritter, Macarthur Park with Julie Deply for director Billy Wirth. She also starred in the dramatic boxing film 12 Rounds with Brian Buzzini and Rosana Arquette.
Rachel currently resides in Los Angeles where she juggles her acting and modeling career along with her role as a mother to her son Liam and her daughter Renee.
