Ring Sizing Helpful Hints:
1. The average ring size for women is approximately a size 6. The average ring size for men is approxiamtely 10.
2. Your ring finger on your dominant hand will generally be approximately half a size larger than the same finger on you other hand.
3. If you are considering a wide band, it is recommended to order one size larger than you would wear in a thin band.
4. What happens if your knuckle is bigger than the base of your finger? Refer to sizing Approach B below. Measure at both your knuckle and at the base of your finger. Select a size that falls mid-range between the two. (Example: knuckle = 7-1/2, base of finger = 6-1/2; mid-range = 7)

Ring Sizing Approach:
There are different ways in which you can determine ring size. We call them Approach A & Approach B. Both are very easy so don't be intimidated. Remember, we are here to help walk you through the process.

Approach A - If shopping for yourself or someone else, place a ring that fits (you or him/her) over the series of circles below, making sure the inside of the ring lines up with the outside edge of the circle. If you find that the ring is in between sizes, the best advice is to order the larger size. *Note: You need Adobe Acrobat Reader to print out our Ring Sizer, download now.

Approach B - Make a ring sizer following the instructions below. It requires paper or string, a pen, and a little bit of patience.
1. Using a piece of non-stretchy string that is approximately 6 inches long or a piece of paper of the same length and approximately 1/4 inch wide, wrap it around the base of your finger.
2. With your pen, mark a line at the point on the string or paper where the ends meet, forming a complete circle.
3. Place your string or paper next to the sizing lines below and compare the lengths in order to determine your ring size. If you are between two sizes, the best advice is to order the larger size.

What If I Don't Know Her Ring Size?
What do you do if the ring is intended as a surprise? How can you find out her ring size? Here are a few helpful tips to consider:
1. Discreetly ask one of his/her friends or family members if they know the proper ring size.
2. Secretly borrow one of the rings you have noticed him/her wearing on the appropriate finger and use Approach A to detrmine the proper size.
